John Raymond Byram was born and grew up in Kingman, Arizona.
He received a Bachelor’s degree in
architecture from Arizona State University and Masters degrees
in architecture and city planning from UC Berkeley.
John
has studied with several notable aquarellists, including Robert
S. Oliver and Robert J. Uecker. He currently paints in transparent
watercolor with the Mount Washington Plein Air Painters (a.k.a.
the stand-back-and-squint-group).
He
has most recently exhibited his watercolors at the Acorn Gallery
in Los Angeles, California and the Civic Center Gallery in
Alhambra, California. His work is represented in several private
and public collections.
John
is a licensed architect with his own design practice in Pasadena,
California. He lives in Pasadena with his wife, Simran,
an urban designer. |
